Albright Out and About

Spectral Locus

Commingling the influences of Cristo and Spencer Tunick, Amanda Browder brings attention and beauty to  things we might otherwise take for granted. Just as Tunick has brought attention to the  neglected Central Terminal draped in naked Buffalonians, Browder's textile extravaganza has covered the Richmond-Ferry church in a coat of many colors. This spectacular new wardrobe is definitely a treat for the eyes but also speaks for the is church saying,  "I'm still here". Appropriately, the installation is an harbinger of the church's new spiritual life. The building will soon be home to a many faceted visual and performing arts center, as well as some flats.
