            The French Renaissance Revival styled Lafayette High School is the original home of one of Buffalo's oldest public schools. The school has been graduating students since 1903 in Buffalo's West Side neighborhood on Lafayette Street.

Buffalo entrepreneur, Louise Sano brings her uniquely cool fashion sense to this West Side clothing boutique. Cozy and hip, the selections of the Rwandan born designer/owner bespeak her international aesthetic.

Providence Social on Rhode Island describes itself as the "Gem of the Westside". Never been, but it is rumored to have a dog friendly patio, chill lighting, and happy hours amidst elegant ambience. The eclectic menu is worth a peak. You had me at Duck Nachos. Beware Friday's, the crowd gets a little rough, they have a teacher happy hour with food. And as long as the weather holds like this, we are there.
