Here you'll find artisan crafted jewelry, unique and one of a kind. The store on Lexington has been doing their thing well and for a long while. Wild Things started out in 1988, and today is an anchor on this commercial corner of the residential street that was also the birthplace of the Lexington Co-op. Unique as the street they occupy, the store features talented local artists and others, always guaranteed to make you stop, and at the very least, window shop, with their delightful displays.

The Co Op

We used to go to the Co Op when it was really on Lexington- bins and barrels of food stuff and produce all in a tiny turn of the century store front. What a difference 20 years or so make. The Elmwood version is a neighborhood luxury, as it has just about everything, (beer, even) and it's open until 11:00 at night! Coming soon, the second locale on Hertel. This one will be larger and have indoor seating. For Parkside residents, it can't happen soon enough.
