They had a good run, but it's time for Christmas trees to join that big mulcher in the sky. Actually, the city will collect trees between January 3rd and the 13th, finding them a new life as mulch in city parks, avoiding the landfill. For those of you who like to keep the tree up and lit until Valentine's Day, close your curtains.
