Oshun

Oshun
Oshun is rocking their Dollar Oyster Night at the charming former Waldorf Astoria Luncheon Counter and Florsheim Shoe Store, corner of Washington and East Huron. The building, built in 1946, has been splendidly redesigned to complement the original structure, replete with cozy elegant booths, Art Deco flourishes and frescoes by Sarah Fonzi.

Haunted Terminal

Central Terminal

Buffalo's once glorious Central Terminal is regarded by ghost hunters as one of the most haunted locales in Western New York's most haunted city. The Art Deco  beauty began its life  in 1929. At its height, it was transporting ten thousand people a day until it became a ghost itself in 1979. The building has been at the center of several revitalization attempts over the years and is definitely haunted by the ghosts of 70's recession and poor decisions. Hopefully the old building will rise from the dead and find its re-purpose in the new Buffalo.

City Hall Observation Deck

New friends from Shanghai, China / City Hall Observation Deck

High atop Buffalo City Hall is one of the great free attractions of the Queen City. The observation deck of this Art Deco beauty offers a 360 degree view of Buffalo and surrounding environs, including a spectacular view of Lake Erie, the Niagara River and Canada. At 398 ft. high, the building is one of the largest municipal buildings in the U.S. We ran into some folks, visiting from Shanghai, China, who found the view breathtaking.
