Cottage

The Gardener's Cottage
The Martin Gardener's Cottage was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright as one of the residential buildings on the Darwin Martin Complex. Wright and his team designed the complementing landscape for the Martin home and the on sight gardener would tend to the extensive landscaping needs of the property. Not a bad gig, especially considering the lovely cottage the gardener and family would call home. The structure was finished around 1908 after Martin's sister's home, the Barron House was completed in 1905.  Between the two residential structures, there are also the Conservatory and Carriage House all to the rear of the main residence of the Martin House Property.
